  6. BGBBS Lister is a simple way for other sysops to advertise their BBS.

  12. [1] View the BBS list
  13.  
  14. When selected you will be prompted to how you wish to view the list,
  15.  
  16. Would you like to see a [s]hort quick list or a [F]ull detailed list?

  18. If you select 's' you will be presented with a list of all the BBS in the
  19. list  in  a  short  form only displaying the BBS Name, Sysop's name, Open
  20. Hours and Computer Supported.

  22. If  you  select  'f' you will be presented with a detailed list of BBS in
  23. the list.  All known details of the BBS will be shown.

  26. [2] Search BBS list

  28. Lost the number to your favorite BBS have we?
  29. When  you select this option you will be givern the option to either type
  30. in  a  BBS name or Sysop name that you wish to search for.  The search is
  31. not case sensitive so 'Ben Gaunt' will be treated the same as 'ben gaunt'
  32. or even 'BEN GAUNT'.
  33. If  a  match is found during the search the BBS details will be displayed
  34. to the screen.

  37. [3] Download BBS list (ASCII TEXT)

  39. When selected all the BBS data will be made into a ASCII text file.  This
  40. file can then be downloaded by you and read offline.

  43. [4] Add a BBS to the list
  44.  
  45. When selected you are prompted to enter details about the BBS you wish to
  46. add to the list.  You have a chance to abort the entry at the end.

  48. [5] Edit a BBS on the list
  49.  
  50. When selected the BBS list will be searched for an entry by you.  If one
  51. or more are  found the BBS detail will be displayed and you will be asked
  52. if you wish to edit  them.  If you decide to edit a BBS you will then be
  53. presented with another menu  displaying  the  BBS  details  with  numbers
  54. next to each line.  Enter the number to edit that line.
  55. When  finished  select the save option, you can also abort an edit if
  56. you change your mind.
  57. NOTE: 'The Date placed on list' entry can not be edited!

  59. [6] Delete a BBS from the list
  60.  
  61. If  you  need  to  delete  a  BBS  from the list then select this option.
  62. IMPORTANT:   You  can only delete entries from the list that you entered.
  63. If for some reason there is an entry on the list that should not be there
  64. please contact the Sysop and he/she will remove it for you.
